In this article, we'll cover the CSV employee import functionality.
This is an effective method for importing multiple employees while simultaneously adding identifying information such as First Name, Last Name, Company, and Job Title.
We provide a sample CSV import template, making the onboarding process even simpler. This is detailed in the steps below.
1. Navigate to the Employees page and click 'New Employee List'
2. Proceed with a bulk import of employee data.
[2.1] Download the CSV Template.
[2.2] Update the CSV template with your employee information.
Note 1: Please leave the first row with the column headers unchanged (i.e. do not delete or rearrange them).
Note 2: The only mandatory information is the email address - all other columns can be left blank (e.g. FirstName, LastName, etc.).
[2.3] Save the CSV file in a comma-delimited format.
[2.3] Specify the document for upload and then click Upload File.
3. Click Save. The employee list has now been created.
Finally, please ensure all domains associated to the employees (e.g. the company.com portion of support@company.com) have been verified for phishing and training in the CanIPhish platform. Follow the Employees - Domain Verification article for a walkthrough on how to do this.
